The key objective of the Workshop Supervisor at the Snowboard Workshop Queenstown NZ for the 2025 Winter season requires an authentic and friendly professional approach, working confidently to guide our workshop team.You will assist in the training of employees on company policies and procedures.Recommend repairs and maintenance of Skis and Snowboards for both customers and internal departments whilst joyfully upholding our excellent company culture and outstanding workshop service.Ensure repeat purchases and word-of-mouth referrals.Maintain Snowboard Workshops' high level of craftsmanship.The minimum hours of work are 30 hours, averaging 40 hours per week.IDEAL PERSON SPECIFICATION6 seasons of previous practical experience as a workshop technician within the industry.
Ideally, we would like this to become an ongoing relationship - returning staff will be prioritised.
Knowledge and experience using workshop machines both manual and auto feeds, and tools skillfully, with the ability to guide on how to safely handle them correctly.
Motivated to supervise and be part of a team that is authentic and joyful for both customers and staff alike.
The ability to advise customers and staff of the safe handling and setup of Skis & Snowboards, including identifying any issues of product safety and quality, mounting, and calibrating to the customer's specific needs.
Thoroughly organised with a calm, welcoming, and helpful professional demeanour.
A dynamic problem-solver with leadership skills takes all reasonable, responsible behaviour and practical steps to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
