If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are now looking for a Site Manager to join our Team in Rolleston, Christchurch.As the Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the smooth operation of one of MOVe's largest warehouses.
This is a critical leadership role, requiring you to oversee all aspects of site performance, from P&L management and cost control to team leadership and customer satisfaction.
You will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, developing a high-performing workforce, and identifying new business opportunities.Candidates will have:At least 5 years proven experience in site/operations management within a large-scale warehouse or logistics environmentHigh level Microsoft Office skillsThe ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesA positive attitude and enjoy working with a dynamic and diverse teamA natural leader with a track record of building and managing high-performing teamsStrong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L and controlling operational costsCustomer-focused mindset, always ensuring service excellenceA proactive problem-solver, capable of driving continuous improvementStrong knowledge of and focus on health, safety and wellbeingThe role will involve:Ensuring positive collaboration between different departments to optimise workflow and enhance customer satisfactionBuilding effective relationships with MOVe's customers and suppliers and participate in any issue resolution processesEnsuring all company equipment is maintained to a high levelP&L Ownership: Manage site budgets, control costs, and drive profitabilityOperational Excellence: Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations, meeting productivity and service KPIsTeam Leadership: Lead, coach, and performance-manage a strong, motivated teamBusiness Growth: Seek out new customer opportunities and expand the site's commercial potentialCompliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, regulatory and compliance requirementsWhy Join MOVe Logistics?MOVe Logistics Group is one of New Zealand's most trusted transport and logistics companies, proudly serving the supply chain for over 150 years.
