Site Engineer

Seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major project in Auckland CBD.Your new companyOur client is a leading commercial main contractor in Auckland and has over 20 years' experience in the NZ construction industry.
They are a privately owned company and have a proven track record of delivering a high standard of work and setting new standards within the industry.
Due to continued growth, they are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Site Engineer to join their talented team.Your new roleDevelop and manage detailed schedules, logistics, and resources to ensure efficient execution of building envelope works.Provide technical expertise in procurement, site surveys, shop drawings, and resolving on-site challenges.Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and address any defects promptly.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct safety audits, and promote a strong safety culture.Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, maintain effective communication, and ensure accurate project documentation and reporting.What you'll need to succeedMinimum of 5 years experience in vertical commercial construction.Tertiary qualification in engineering or related field.Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications.Excellent organisational and time management skills.The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proven experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle.What you'll get in returnOpportunity to join a company that invests in their staff.Strong pipeline of future work.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
