Shop Assistant

RISING SUN 2016 LIMITED is looking to hire 2x shop assistants for their 2 stores based in Waiau OTS, Waiau and Hei Hei suburb, Christchurch. You may require working in both stores from time to time.

The salary will range from $24.00 to $30.00 (depending on your skills) for a minimum of 30 hours a week. Any overtime worked over 30 hours will be paid as per the base hourly pay.

Daily Tasks Involved in the role:

* · Manage daily operations of store to meet store goals.
* · Follow and enforce store policies, security measures and customer service standards.
* · Provide excellent customer services.
* · Develop positive shopping experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
* · Manage product storage and rotation activities to reduce spoilages and damages.
* · Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean and organized.
* · Ensure that shelves are loaded with fresh products all the times.
* · Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labelled.
* · Setup product displays in store entrance and other sections.
* · Maintain the shop clean, safe and appealing.

Job Pre-requisites

* · Physically fit, as heavy lifting may require as a part of the role.
* · You must be available to work during the weekends, public holiday, late hours, and rotational shifts.
* · Excellent work ethics and reliable.
* · Ability to use your knowledge, skills, and experience to grow and expand our business.
* · Ability to work without any supervision and minimal training.

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Licence/Certification:

* NZ resident visa or citizenship. (Required)
