Shipping Coordinator Premier Beehive are a leading manufacturer and distributor of processed meat products They currently have an opportunity for a highly adaptable detail oriented and customer focused person to join their successful team The role is based in Carterton with some travel to Palmerston North required While prior experience in the shipping or freight forwarding industries would be an advantage our client is willing to consider candidates with the right attitude transferrable skill base and adaptability This is a pivotel role and requires someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills Key Duties include Managing the logistics information flow Placing orders for International meat purchases Ensuring International Suppliers meet agreed delivery times Monitoring shipment progress and providing delivery instructions to Customs Maintaining and uploading transfer schedules Preparing MPI transfer authorisations Accurate updating and maintenance of tracking spreadsheets Providing support across the Supply Chain function Key Success Factors Intermediate to advanced Excel user Ability to readily build strong business relationships An adaptable curious approach A strong eye for detail Some exposure to ERP systems not essential Desire to learn and grow Highly computer literate and able to readily pick up new systems Resilient and highly process driven Please apply online or call Lyn Watson on 027 221 1207 Lyn Watson
