Sheep And Beef Farm Hand

We are looking for an energetic and hard working person to help on our High Country Sheep and Beef farm for the summer from end of Oct - Mid Feb. Work will include helping with dagging, shearing, calf marking, weaning and general farm duties. Some experience would be preferred but not essential. A furnished three bedroom house with internet is provided. Some meat provided. Couples are welcome to apply, weekly house keeping and gardening for partners in exchange for accomodation.Our surrounding areas are an adventure playground with rafting just down the road in Mangaweka, Lake Taupo an hour and a half away, Tongariro Crossing, The Sky Waka, and many more attractions close by. We have two beautiful rivers on our doorstep and we are under three hours to Wellington and an hour to Palmerston North Airport.
