About the Role
RCR Infrastructure is currently seeking an experienced Service Technician (HVAC/R) to join our dynamic team based in our Christchurch Branch.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance, repairs, installation and servicing of air-conditioning systems including split systems, central plant, chillers and general refrigeration systems, in a professional manner for our commercial and industrial clients.
Primary responsibilities of the role include:
Service and preventative maintenance
Fault diagnosis
Perform breakdown repairs
Establish and maintain long-term client relationships
Participation in minor work projects (installation, sheet metal work)
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Possess HVAC trade qualifications and relevant experience
Experience in HVAC servicing, installation including sheet metal work and remedial repairs
Restricted Electrical Registration
Full clean driver's licence
Be a proactive team player with the ability to work unsupervised
Solid practical understanding of safety and how to maintain a safe work environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and time management skills
Demonstrated experience in the commercial and industrial environment would be advantageous.
