Service Technician Christchurch New Zealand About the Company Arjo has been operating in New Zealand since 2001 and is a leading global provider of medical technology products and solutions for patients and residents with reduced mobility and related conditions Arjo is a global market leader in the medical device industry and are looking for a Service Technician to join our Aftermarket Team About the Role We are looking for an Entry level Service Person preferably with Electrical Appliance Serviceperson EAS qualification and EWRB registration Experience in Healthcare and or equipment installations will be an advantage and EAS Trainees may be considered The focus of this role is to carry out the installation maintenance repairs and testing of our medical equipment including hospital beds patient hoists and our range of alternating mattresses Key requirements EAS Qualification and EWRB registration is preferable however EAS trainees will be considered Experience on construction sites and or installation of equipment an advantage Problem solving and fault finding skills with a strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service A Clean Full Driver s License and Good personal presentation The ability to work independently or in a team with good communication to both customers and colleagues Representing ArjoHuntleigh well to promote and develop our service contacts Occasional travel for training installation and servicing equipment throughout NZ This is a full time role and you will be provided with a Company Service vehicle Mobile phone and Laptop Successful applicants will be required to undergo relevant referee checks prior to appointment We appreciate the effort you have put into your application Due to the high level of applications we receive you will only be contacted if you have been shortlisted for our vacancy Please apply online with your CV and cover letter outlining your availability and suitability for the position Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa www arjo com
