About the opportunity
Our Edendale manufacturing site boasts a modern fleet of 70 milk tankers, truck and trailers and a clean, tidy and heated workshop environment.
As a heavy diesel Fleet Service Technician at our Edendale workshop you’ll be joining a large and supportive Fleet Services team who are key to ensuring that our vehicles meet our high service and repair standards. Day to day you will be responsible for:
Mechanical servicing, repairs and fault finding with computerised diagnostics of our milk tankers, trucks and trailers.
Electrical fault finding and repairs.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop to improve Tanker reliability.
This role typically operates on a four on, four off roster (two 12 hour day shifts, two 12 hour night shifts and four days off)
About you

You’re a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills. Your solid heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience along with modern computerised diagnostic experience will stand you in good stead.
To be successful in the role you will need:
Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (farm, marine or road transport) or recently completed apprenticeship
A heavy vehicle trade certificate (Level 4 or equivalent)
A Class 5 drivers licence is beneficial but not essential as we will support the successful candidate in obtaining one.
A strong focus on asset care - driving towards world class fleet reliability.
