About the Role
Overall responsibility of a Service Product Manager is to support Group Manager, developing compelling commercial propositions and coordinating these activities to profitably grow our Vector Metering revenue. Other key responsibilities include –
Developing a deep understanding of our customers’ current and future requirements, how they consume our services and where improvements can be made to reduce the collective cost to serve.
Provide input into long-term strategic marketing plan, service vision and its service development roadmap
Provide technical advisory and thought leadership to the sales, business development and account management teams
Who are we looking for?
Your previous exposure to a sales environment, with proven track record of success and growing market share will be essential. You have sound knowledge of commercial activities and product design and development processes.
Ideally, you’ll have strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle approaches and Agile development techniques. You’ll have experience in software development languages, protocols and related capabilities, including but not limited to - Java, SQL – including Oracle and No SQL databases, Virtualisation technologies, including VMWare and Cloud computing environments.
