Service Manager, Dunedin High/District Court

We are seeking an experienced people manager to fill a vacancy at the Dunedin High / District Court in a permanent, full-time capacity.
This role reports to the Manager Justice Services (Otago / South Canterbury) who is based in Dunedin.
The purpose of this role is to manage a team of court registry officers ensuring high standards of quality and timeliness in the delivery of services to all court users. This includes ensuring a high overall customer service experience and maintaining a high performing, inclusive team culture. This role is responsible for the operational management of the Dunedin Court Registry, process and performance improvement, as well as stakeholder engagement.
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills, knowledge and experience:
Operational leadership experience (in the court environment or criminal justice system is desirable but not essential).
Previous experience in coaching and developing the capability of staff.
Proven leadership skills to motivate and lead staff to achieve targets whilst understanding their contribution to the bigger picture.
Demonstrated track record in supporting and implementing business change and new work processes.
You will also possess well-developed, confident interpersonal skills which will enable you to establish strong internal/external relationships and motivate others to be their best every day.
Salary range: $83,219 to $117,485
