This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large Deli team who are passionate about producing high quality products and providing excellent customer service.You could be an experienced Service Deli Manager who is looking for a change or an experienced Deli Assistant with aspirations of leadership. If this is you, then we want to hear from you!As an integral member of our team, you will have significant responsibility, and will need to possess the appropriate skills to lead the daily operations of this busy department in our store.Responsibilities will include:Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered to our valued customersManaging, leading, organising and developing the potential of our Service Deli teamFood planning, preparation, production and presentationInventory control and managementMaintaining our high standards of Food Safety and Health & SafetyOrdering stock and liaising with suppliersEnsuring highest standards of merchandising are achievedTo be a good fit for this role you will have:Proven leadership skills to lead a passionate and driven Deli teamAbility to effectively communicate with a diverse range of peopleHigh levels of integrity and honestyA background in food production and cooking, as we make an extensive range of in-house products.Competency using computer programs – SAP experience is idealFantastic organisational, presentation and planning skillsCommitment to excellent customer serviceHoursThis role is a fulltime permanent position of 40-45 hours. Days and hours will be discussed in the interview.
