Service Deli Manager Service Deli Manager In this role you ll gain experience similar to running your own business with the challenge of leading an outstanding team that will deliver growth and customer satisfaction We are looking for a food professional that can maximize sales and achieve specified profit margins in the department whilst managing expenses the department team and stock levels so that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience The role will involve being responsible for producing a wide range of high quality foods for our customers with an opportunity for you to show us your innovation and creativity About the Role As the Deli Manager you will be responsible for the overall operations of the department including but not limited to Enhancing the reputation of the business by promoting and encouraging best practice levels of customer service Monitoring sales and creating opportunities for growth Ordering for the department through effective use of the instore purchasing systems ensuring all stock is sourced through approved suppliers and that stock levels are controlled appropriately Building attractive eye catching displays Managing the rosters to ensure adequate staff levels at all times keeping in line with KPIs sales and profit targets Ensuring all team members receive appropriate induction to the department and ongoing training support Have an understanding of health and safety management responsibilities About You To be successful in this role you need to have People focus leading and supervising working with people persuading and influencing Results focus planning and organizing to deliver results through others Customer focus bringing everything back to the customer identifying and focusing upon their needs and expectations Retail experience to 2IC or previous department management experience Knowledge and experience with SAP systems with the ability to balance time on the computer with day to day operations Reporting to the Owner Operator your key responsibilities include Ensuring that the department is full fresh and appealing creating attractive and with eye catching displays Monitoring sales and profitability and creating opportunities and innovating for growth Ordering for the department through effective use of the instore purchasing systems ensuring all stock is sourced through approved suppliers and that stock levels are controlled appropriately This is a fulltime position which includes weekend work marketdriven competitive salary to suit the expectations of the role for the successful candidate 021808143
