The role | M? te t?nga
This is a key role within our Statistical Service Line who are the technical owners of our data processing environments and are also leading the technology rollout to deliver 2023 Census.

You will be a key part of the Statistical Leadership team reporting directly to the Senior Manager ? Digital Services ? Statistics. Working closely with our Service Portfolio Manager, Solution Architect and DevOps Managers, you will assure the quality, security compliance, scalability and sustainability of the products and services delivered by our service line.

This role is also responsible for the planning and management of all digital trust activities, testing, change/release processes, security accreditation support and continual improvement initiatives within the Statistics Service Line.

About you | M?u
Proven track record providing security and assurance delivery within a digital services environment.
Experienced change and release champion within a DevOps environment.
Demonstrable test planning and release coordination skills.
Comfortable engaging and communicating across all levels of an organisation.
An open and fresh approach, inclusive and collaborative style and the desire to delight your customers.
Knowledge/familiarity or a commitment to learn/understand Te Ao Maori, including ensuring opportunities at Stats NZ reach the Maori community.
