Service Adviser

Northland Honda is based in the beautiful Bay of Islands / Waipapa and is currently seeking Service Adviser to join our expanding team. We are passionate about delivering service of the highest standard to our wide range of customers.
Our store is well equipped and professional, specializing but not limited to Honda Motorcycles, Honda Marine, Honda Power Equipment, Walker Mowers, Husqvarna Mowers, Power Equipment, and Hustler Mowers.
The ideal candidate will be trade experienced or a technician looking to step up into an administrative role or someone with at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities:
Taking bookings, processing repair orders, quotes and invoices
Diary management & job allocation to Technicians
Liaising with customers and staff via phone, email and in person
Maintaining customer contact to ensure they are kept informed of the progress of work being carried out on their vehicles
Work closely with the Service Centre staff to maximise utilisation of resources
Assisting with parts interpretation, procurement and sales
Assisting with Inventory Management
Assist in the Service Centre with repairs as required
To be successful in this role the candidate will need to possess the following attributes:
A passion for great service
Previous hands-on mechanical experience
Excellent computer literacy & experience with in-house & external systems
Be able to prioritise and multitask in a time driven environment
Strong relationship building & customer service skills
Excellent time management & organisational skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn & grow their knowledge
Work well as a part of a team as well as autonomously
