SEO Specialist
An exciting new role has been developed for a highly motivated and passionate SEO specialist to drive traffic and build the brands for the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers and Foundation Education. This is a great opportunity for an SEO professional to join an exciting registered training organisation (RTO) who is making innovation part of their digital transformation.
We seek a results-driven and enthusiastic digital marketing professional within the area of SEO and Content who understands that SEO is the perfect mix of technical capability and engaging storytelling.
The successful candidate will be someone who thrives on spending time creating new and original ideas and concepts but is also able to project manage and communicate effectively with a team as well as the technical smarts to bring it all together.
The Role:
Search Engine Optimisation - strategise and implement all elements of SEO including: site audits, keyword research (conversion driving keywords) and visibility reports, on-page SEO, Off-page SEO, link building including advising on affiliation opportunities, local SEO Google My Business and directories, technical SEO requirements including fixing SEO technical issues and site structural issues.
Brainstorm and develop SEO-led content ideas
Develop content marketing strategies and lead innovation in content planning.
Ensure high rankings at all times for the websites through organic search for all search engines
Undertake competitor and industry analysis to develop strategies that will achieve desired results
Develop outreach strategies with authorities and publishers within key industries via face to face networking, social and email outreach and other creative initiatives
Delivering exceptional customer service by meeting deadlines, being proactive and keeping flexible in your delivery
Analyse and provide insight into search performance
Integrate content strategies with social media, PPC and other digital marketing activities
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Proven experience across all things digital
3+ years experience in technical SEO and content
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of SEO tools and techniques including SEMRush
Demonstrated Google Adwords experience and Google Analytics
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, projects, and campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML and experience with CMS preferably Drupal or Wordpress
