Senior Web Adviser – Public Affairs
Our Engagement & Information directorate are looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Web Adviser to join our team working in the Ministry for Primary Industries Digital Channels.
About our Team - Mo to matou ropu
Our team consists of a Team leader and three web advisers. We are a dedicated, customer-centric team skilled in web best practise and charged with the responsibility of ensuring the effectiveness of MPI's Digital Channels.
About You - Mou
We're looking for someone technologically minded with outstanding oral and written communication skills who has great eye for detail. You will have proven experience in preparing online content and an appreciation of the issues associated with presenting digital content in a meaningful way. Due to the fast paced nature of this role, we require a multi-tasker and someone who can prioritise their workload on a daily basis. As a Senior Web Adviser you will have excellent relationship management skills and will have worked in a similar sized organisation and can understand the complexity of the job in hand.
You will need the following skills and experience to be successful:
At least 5 years' experience in web best practice and web content delivery
Knowledge of Google Analytics
Working knowledge of web content management and planning
Knowledge of defining and communicating technical requirements both to developers and managers
Knowledge of SEO and NZ Government Web Standards
Web content writing skills
Experience of content management systems – knowledge of Silverstripe would be desirable
