Description

Ourvets Christchurch provides 7 days of service across four locations in Christchurch. We have the South Islands’ only veterinary CT scanner, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasonography, in-house diagnostics and a team of dedicated nurses and vets. We have capabilities in medicine, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, oncology, and cardiorespiratory medicine including echocardiography.

Due to a recent change in management, we are expanding our team and currently have a full-time position available for a Senior Vet Nurse to join our Best Practice Accredited St Albans clinic on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone with the with energy and drive to make a real difference. Commitment and passion for high standards of care, along with a great team spirit are a must.
Ourvets St Albans was Christchurch’s first NZVA Accredited Practice. We are very proud of the ongoing commitment of all staff to have remained accredited for so many years.

What you can offer us:
A certificate/diploma in Veterinary Nursing A minimum of 4 years’ experience with a good base knowledge of nursing as well as either ordering or business management Drive for excellence and ongoing improvement of standards of care are a must A commitment to provide exceptional patient care Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills
