Senior Ui Designer

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, Developers, QA team and marketing specialists, working as part of an agile squad to bring the solution to life
Communicate rationale behind design decisions to wider team and stakeholders and integrate feedback
Ensure designs are optimised for accessibility
Keep abreast of new technology and emerging UI design thinking
Present UI trends and innovation to wider teams to inspire innovative thinking
Review and identify ways to improve existing design processes and tooling
Develop, maintain and manage our digital design design system and reinforce its application to ensure a consistent experience across our touchpoints

At least 8 years of experience as a visual designer
An extraordinary portfolio demonstrating significant previous experience of delivering crafted, consistent and brand aligned digital UI designs within a complex customer-focused commercial environment
Solid understanding of visual design considerations and patterns across responsive and mobile first websites, mobile apps, web apps, software apps, emails etc
Proven experience enhancing, documenting, maintaining and reinforcing the application of a design system within a design team
Experienced in leading UI design for projects and mentoring and supervising the work of more junior designers
Experience working in agile and lean environments with cross-functional teams
Experience with collaborative, rapid design and prototyping including participation in Design Sprints and workshop facilitation
Expert in core design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision, UXPin, Axure, Zeplin etc)
Knowledge of HTML and CSS (understanding the concepts to inform design, no production required
