About the role
As a Senior Technical Field Officer, you will be the lead technical expert for Agriculture & Agronomy within Amberley and some surrounding areas of North Canterbury.
This is a territory based role, so your day will consist of consulting on farm, providing a wealth of knowledge on everything from crop management, to animal health and nutrition. You'll be solutions focused, drawing on your expert industry knowledge to tailor the products & services offered at each site to ensure the success of our field clients business.
You will equally be eager to chase new opportunities to develop your portfolio of clients in this region, given your reputation as an expert!
You'll also be able to:
Work closely with our local retail team based at Farmlands Amberley, to support key relationships and customers
Use technology to your advantage to strategically plan & organise your on-farm activities & build your future pipeline
About you
You'll bring a depth & breadth of experience within agriculture with a strong focus on agronomy, so our clients are in good hands
You'll be effective developing long-lasting business relationships with our clients & be focused on providing profitable solutions
You will be adept at using latest technology - Mobile, iPad, Laptop, industry Apps
