Senior Structural Engineer

Your new companyOur client is a progressive and growing NZ owned multidisciplinary consultancy, based in central Auckland.
Due to an increased workload, particularly with their blue chip clients, they are looking to expand their workforce and recruit a Senior Structural Engineer.Your new roleWork on a range of commercial, industrial and residential engineering design projects.Autonomously manage projects and liaise directly with clients.
Prepare preliminary and detailed designs, project administration and management, on-site investigations and report writing.Be responsible for providing support and mentorship to junior members of the team.What you'll need to succeed5+ Years' NZ structural design experience.Be a CPEng Engineer.Good understanding of NZ seismic, steel, concrete and timber codes.Previous DSA experience.Proven ability to plan and organise engineering tasks to ensure successful project delivery.A New Zealand Structural Engineering qualification (1st class honours required).Strong communication skills.What you'll get in returnIf you are successful with your application, you will get the opportunity to work in an experienced and supportive team in a central Auckland location.
