The Position
Based in the Auckland factory and reporting to the Operations Team Lead, this position is mandated with helping us to ensure our customers experience world-class service via the throughput of products & components from inbound to outbound transportation, ensuring safe, secure and efficient storage a& handling. Achieving this enables our Operations teams have the right equipment they need in the right condition to provide the optimal product and technological solutions to our customers.
Specific responsibilities will include:
The supervision and guidance of stores people and contingent resource within the respective work area
The provision of practical, on-the-job training for new team members and contingent workers
Ensuring all stores procedures are carried out safely, accurately and efficiently and intervenes to provide coaching and support when required
The handling of equipment and materials with utmost care to minimize potential damage through processing, storage and delivery
The use of the ERP, Excel and other software to perform receipting and reconciliation of stock movements as well as the required reporting/tracking of materials
Ensuring an orderly workspace for optimal efficiency and the minimization of safety risk
Ensuring all tasks are carried out in manner that minimises potential harm to both yourself and team members
Providing operational support to other departments within the wider Operations team where demand requires.

What are we looking for?
5+ years in stores environment with experience of both inwards & outwards goods
Strong customer service attitude
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer- focused working environment
Methodical and systematic
Reliability.
Collaborative orientation and a willingness to work cross-departmentally
Computer literacy, including a basic understanding of ERP systems or similar
Current counterbalance and reach forklift licenses
