Ko ta matou mahi - Our role
As Senior Stakeholder Relationship Manager you will design and deliver professional engagement practices with communities and stakeholders, and build and manage exceptional strategic partnerships on behalf of the organisation. As a senior member of the team, you will additionally take on some support and mentoring of others in the group and across the organisation.
You will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills, and be passionate about achieving positive results for Kainga Ora. You'll also need to be able to utilise your political and strategic nous in helping the organisation to connect and collaborate well with strategic partners.
These are operational, not executive, roles amongst our Auckland team/as our sole team member in the Whangarei office.
Nga pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring:
Extensive relevant community engagement experience at a senior level
Ability to operate comfortably in Te Ao Maori
The capability to create and maintain exceptional relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
A sound understanding of the machinery of Government
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Strategic thinking and a growth mindset

These roles will require both well-developed community networks and regular travel throughout the Auckland/Northland regions respectively.
