You will join our market leading and highly ranked Banking and Financial Services division, a team that is passionate and committed to deliver timely, practical, and innovative solutions to help clients realise their goals.The role provides the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a top law firm with an excellent client base, including all the major trading banks, other local and international banks, investment banks, financial institutions, sponsors, issuers, trustees, corporates, and government organisations.To be successful in this role, you'll have:5 to 10 years' experience in banking transactions (include but not limited to leveraged finance, project finance, asset finance) and/or restructuring and insolvency gained from another top tier law firm or financial institutionExcellent drafting experience, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that help you develop strong relationshipsA commercially driven mindset and ability to engage and provide the outcomes our clients are seekingAn interest in drafting in plain English would be an advantage as would CCCFA experience.As a senior member of the team, you'll be mentoring junior members of staff and be demonstrating leadership qualities, as well as participating in business development activities.About usMinterEllisonRuddWatts is a top tier New Zealand law firm with a proud 130 year history.
