Senior Software Engineer (Ruby/Web)

As Senior Software Engineer you will become part of the Agile development team. You will contribute collaboratively, be creative and constructive with a strong passion for high quality front and back end software development. In this role you will use latest technology tools and will be able to lift your technical knowledge to a new level.You will need:Qualifications in relevant disciplines
5+ years’ experience as an application developer working in an Agile environment
Experience with OOP such as C# or Java together with API design using SOA or microservices
Vast working Experience with full-stack
Server-side API development in Ruby on Rails
TypeScript or JavaScript, for rich interactive front-end development
React (experience with Redux or Flux-style application architectures would be ideal)
The ability to craft pixel-perfect designs using CSS
Knowledge and/or experience with Elixir and Kafka would be advantageous
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure-as-code principles
Proven experience in mentoring, coaching and leading teams
Proven experience with the software development cycle, project and applications management
Knowledge of current and emerging development tools, techniques and technology trends
Primary Sector knowledge would be advantageous
Strong problem solving and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with a high ability to influence others.
