Senior Software Engineer

Product Development – Planning Solutions- Build /
We hope you will be the newest addition to our team to help us in delivering meaningful products to aid our customers. We're a profitable ASX listed leading Australian Govtech company, operating 30+ years, with no plans on slowing down anytime soon!
This role is newly created to join our Objective Planning Solutions team as a Senior Back End Engineer. Experience building a significant multi-user web based applications using the latest industry practices. A deep understanding of designing, building and consuming REST APIs will be key. Having the mentality and drive to coach and mentor teams in the future is heavily desired as our Planning team is growing.
Your responsibilities:

Designing, implementing and testing new features of the product working in cross-functional teams.
Working as part of an agile software development team, following good software development practice such as TDD and unit testing.
PostGreSQL design and development

Your experience:

7 to 10+ years of commercial experience developing web applications
Proficient experience with back end engineering using Java
Experience with event based architectures and Workflow/state machines will be highly regarded
Experience with GraphQL and React also advantageous
