Senior Software Developer (.Net)

We are on the hunt for Senior Developers to join an established fintech company in Wellington.
You will work within the software development team to develop and maintain software applications to support the needs of internal and external stakeholders.This is an office-first culture.
You will need to be prepared to work and collaborate with your team in the office 5 days a week.What you'll doDevelop new and maintain existing software applicationsTest new and existing software applicationsDocument all software applicationsPeer review team members codeProvide or contribute to design approachesProactively identify problems in the product or platform.
Improve areas of the code you work onHelp resolve complex problems by reviewing related information and evaluating options to implement the best solutionProvide application support and maintenanceProvide guidance and mentoring to other developersWork with business analysts and end users to define system requirements.What you'll haveEssential:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred (equivalent work experienced will be considered)5+ years' experience in enterprise software development with .NET stackAn object-oriented design and development backgroundStrong working knowledge of SQL and relational databasesExperience in integrating with REST APIs, distributed systems and microservices.Desirable:Experience in TDD and/or automated testingExperience in .NET Core , web technology stacks, UI patterns, Blazor, VueJs, React, JavaScript.Knowledge of agile methodologies, especially scrumPrevious experience in the financial sectorWorking knowledge of event driven design patternsExperience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platformExperience with Azure services, Kubernetes, Containers.Is this YOU?Apply for confidential discussion.
