Senior Software Developer

Are you someone who loves a challenge and enjoys finding solutions to problems? We are looking for a highly motivated senior software developer to join our IST Delivery team.
As the Senior Software Developer you will play a pivotal part in modernising our development practice and applications. Working within our passionate and collaborative team, you will play a key part in designing and building innovative solutions for our clients. As a senior within the team, you will contribute to the design of applications and features, help develop technical practices and standards, support and mentor other technical staff and provide advice on industry standards and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities include the following:
Create high quality application code according to internal standards and industry best practices
Provide technical advice to all activities including planning, estimation, testing and deployment
The creation of unit and integration tests and automated deployments
To contribute to the technical and coding standards adopted by the team
Provide support and mentoring to the wider team

What you will bring to the role:
A solutions focused approach and ability to problem solve
Experience building applications on the SharePoint platform (ideally 2013 and 2019)
Strong skills working with Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET Core, Web API and SQL
Web development skills including JavaScript, CSS and HTML5
Sound fundamentals in solution architecture, software patterns and security best practice
