Senior Site Manager

Our client is a market leading construction contractor with a proven track record of designing and delivering high quality commercial and residential projects across New Zealand.Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their Tauranga Team.The RoleAs a Site Manager you will be responsible for organising all day-to-day activities on site, ensuring projects are built safely, on time, within budget and to high standards.The ideal candidate will enjoy job variation, leading others, reporting, and come with strong commercial construction experience.ResponsibilitiesOversee foremen, carpenters and apprentices as well other sub-contractors.Reading and interpreting plans and specification documents.Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring that the work is conducted in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.Identify and manage site risks as well as monitoring QA & QC.Scheduling/programming.Preparing site reports.Maintaining health and safety documentation.Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5+ years' experience in a hands-on carpentry position and site management.Thorough understanding of NZ commercial construction methods.Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and budgets.Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all site staff.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.If you have the required qualifications and experience, and you are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, please submit your CV or call me on 021868395 for a confidential chat.
