We are looking for an experienced Service Design Architect to join our digital Team. This is a great opportunity for someone to bring fresh new ideas and ways of working to the team.
The Senior Service Design Architect – Digital is responsible along with the Product Manager, Digital Products to help discover, define and breakdown complex business problems and help identify ICT solutions which help our business partners achieve strategic goals for the Ministry of Social Development and better outcomes for our clients.
To achieve this, you will:
Understand the difference between intentional organisational architecture and emergent design.
Lead digital architecture design and contribute to the delivery of core architectural artefacts.
Have a good understanding of Outcome Driven Innovation and the writing of good Job Stories.
Understand good end to end client product or service design.
Contribute to the creation and review of a systems capability strategy.
Develop, model and drive forward the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance.
Develop enterprise-wide architecture and processes that ensure the strategic application of change is embedded in organisation.
Create and maintain Architecture Runway, Strategic Themes and support Portfolio Canvas and Vison.

You will have:
A good understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and how to break work down through and Enterprise Kanban model.
Experience in designing technical ready architectures that deliver ready business outcomes.
The ability to look at new ways of working and think outside of the box.
An understanding of Business Service Architecture, Technical, Infrastructure and Information Architecture.
Experience in planning and management of project deliverables using the Scaled Agile Framework.
