Senior Risk Analyst

Play a key role in the delivery of EQC's Risk Management Framework
The Senior Risk Analyst works closely with the Manager, Risk & Compliance to support the development, implementation, monitoring and review of EQC's Risk Management Policy & Framework and Risk Roadmap. You'll collaborate across EQC business units to develop risk and compliance maturity and provide support, guidance, advice and training on risk management practices. You'll play a key role in managing and maintaining risk reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board Audit and Risk Committee.
To be successful in this role you will have:
An appropriate tertiary level business qualification
2-3 years risk management experience with knowledge and understanding of relevant New Zealand standards
Proven experience in successfully implementing and improving risk frameworks
Demonstrated (or ability to gain) technical knowledge and understanding ofISO 31000 & COSO ERM FrameworkEarthquake Commission Act 1993Privacy Act 1993Public Records Act 2005Other relevant legislation, industry codes and standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in report writing
Strong analytical and evaluative skills
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships
Effective influencer and communicator at all levels
Comfortable with ambiguity, and able to successfully navigate through change
Able to work collaboratively as well as independently
