You'll provide clinical leadership and ensure the highest level of quality care and procedures are being met and maintained. This is a rewarding opportunity in Private Aged Care that's the first of its kind in New Zealand.
As a Registered Nurse, it is necessary you have: Registration in New Zealand with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) as a Registered Nurse. A current NCNZ annual practicing certificate. A passionate understanding of quality care and consideration for residents and their whanau/families. An understanding of the aged care environment and specific challenges or needs. Ability to make critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrate autonomy. A positive "can do" attitude, always ready to go the extra mile and build connections with the residents and their families/whanau. Experience in leadership or people management, with the ability to motivate and guide the team. Self-motivation, initiative, and professional integrity. Respect for resident confidentiality. You will be responsible for: Leading a Primary Nursing Care Model that is resident-focused, providing holistic, individualized care to the residents, ensuring a culture of excellence is evident. Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively. Developing strong relationships with residents, providing them with the utmost care and attentiveness. Providing leadership and guidance to care staff and team members. Maintaining an ongoing commitment to personal and professional development growth. Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis.
