This is a Permanent, full time position working Monday to Friday, but you will need to be flexible to cover RN shifts as required. You will also be required to be 'On call' alternate weeks for 7 days and will be paid an 'On Call' allowance during this time. Some of the great things you will be doing : Managing and overseeing a team of registered nurses, ensuring day to day high levels of clinical delivery. Ensuring clinical compliance meets auditing requirements. Supporting, identifying, and upskilling the needs and requirements of the registered nurses and care workers. As well as providing appropriate direction and delegation. Working and liaising closely with the Nurse Manager to undertake risk management, quality projects and improvements. Using your clinical skills to access and identify the needs of our residents to be able to formulate / review individual care plans. Ensure compassionate and excellent quality of care is provided to all residents. Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families / whanau. About you We are looking for an experience Senior Registered Nurse who can deliver outstanding services to our residents and possess the essential skills and experience : Current Annual Practicing Certificate and First Aid Certificate Aged Care experience with management or Advanced Clinical Practice essential Current InterRai Certification Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills.
