Utilise your expertise in project and programme coordination to support the delivery of critical areas of strategic change.
The role would suit those who thrive on working at pace and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.This opportunity would allow the successful candidate to:Strengthen their programme level coordination experience on complex programmes.Build and manage effective relationships with key external and internal stakeholders acting as a trusted partner across the complete lifecycle phases.Advocate and contribute to the capability uplift of our project coordination professionals.Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will have the support of a group of project and programme professionals and be part of the change function in the Corporate Portfolio Office.
As a senior member in your field, you will be an advocate for learning and growth across our project and programme professional community.This is a permanent full-time position.
To view the Position Description, click here.Ko koe tenei | About youKey to your success in this role will be your ability to showcase your experience in:Effectively engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders, preferably across multiple teams/agencies.Working as a portfolio coordinator or 7+ years' experience working as a coordinator in a complex project or programme environment.Occasionally managed and delivered small discreet projects.An in-depth understanding of programme and project management methodologies and frameworks using both waterfall and agile methodologies.Demonstrating understanding of how to establish a high performing team environment, with a team that draws on multiple disciplines, effectively leading them towards the achievement of project outcomes.Sound understanding of risk management and assurance controls and associated project and programme reporting and quality standards and project lifecycle processes.Helping establish and facilitating effective Governance committees to ensure well-formed decisions are made in a timely fashion.Project management information systems (preferably with Planview).Reviewing key documentation and working with teams to deliver quality outputs.Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Visio.You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
It would be especially helpful if you have experience in applying these concepts in an office environment.

You will be part of the Corporate Portfolio team within this business unit, which includes change professionals who support NZTA in identifying, defining, organising, and delivering organisational change.
