About the Role
At ASL we draw upon our many years of experience to provide solutions for our customers, and in this key support role you are responsible for managing and developing the oil's, chemicals and batteries category to ensure the needs of our trade and wholesale customers are met.
Specific duties:
Manage a comprehensive product plan, based on detailed understanding of the automotive market
Develop marketing material and strategies for our sales and operations team
Manage product lifecycle
Support our network with product information
Ensure product data accuracy by performing maintenance in line with company guidance
Develop, maintain and leverage supplier relationships for product information and marketing support
Identify procurement and private label opportunities and execute RFP and RFQ plans
Skills & Experience
This is an ideal role for a highly experienced Senior Product Manager, ideally with a strong understand of the automotive industry. You will bring:
Significant experience in a category or product management team, ideally within the automotive industry
Strong capability to bring products and programs to life
Experience with Oil, chemicals, consumables and batteries is highly desirable
Thorough knowledge of inventory, pricing and product management procedures
Highly developed attention for detail and strong analytical skills
Desire to take ownership and responsibility for a significant part of our business
Bring a can do attitude and be a strong team player
