In this role you will join Kiwibank's Digital and Technology team, working with our Platform and Infrastructure engineers in the 'Foundations' hub and providing great technology and service offerings.Our Foundations hub is what enables our application teams to deliver excellent experiences for our staff and customers.As a hands-on member of the Product Team, you will be responsible for facilitating and supporting our ways of working as well as promoting our team culture within the squads.
By doing this you are also ensuring the fluid and rapid delivery of the work best aligned with stakeholder needs and organisational objectives.Day to day this could include:Clearly articulating the 'why' of prioritised work, and how this will achieve measurable progress towards objectives.Developing enduring relationships with stakeholders deepening everyone's understanding of needs in both directions.Clearing roadblocks to success and making success visible and knowing when to escalate effectively.Ability to interpret feature requirements into aligned platform offerings.Maintaining a high-quality backlog, working with product management to develop and define roadmaps, & defining metrics to support decision making.Facilitating agile ceremonies that produce solid deliverables and outcomes.Providing transparent reporting on progress of deliverables.This is us.
Where your expertise matters.Key experience and expertise you would bring to the role include:Experience in leading and facilitating technology teams across either cloud based product offerings and/or on premise infrastructure or specific value aligned streams such as Platform Engineer and Developer Experience.Ability to think on your feet and respond to change in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Ability to think strategically and at a detailed level to manage business and technology complexity.Strong stakeholder management at all levels of the organisation.Ability to communicate with engineers and architects to allow for effective creation of value delivery and associated success criteria.Solid understanding and experience working in agile environment.This is us.
