We're backed by leading venture capital firms, including Insight Partners and Airtree Ventures.How you'll make an impact…As a Senior Product Designer at LawVu, you will be at the forefront of shaping Workspace Intelligence, our flagship AI-powered offering designed to revolutionize how in-house legal teams work.
Reporting to the VP of Product, you will be a critical part of LawVu's AI journey, crafting intuitive, data-driven experiences that enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and drive efficiency.
You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and data engineers to translate complex AI capabilities into seamless, user-friendly interactions.
Your work will not only define how legal professionals engage with AI but also set new standards for innovation in legal tech.
Through strategic design leadership, user research, and a deep understanding of customer needs, you'll play a key role in making Workspace Intelligence an indispensable tool for legal teams worldwide.What you'll do…Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to deeply understand user needs and business goalsTake ownership of the end-to-end design process, from discovery to delivery, including wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designsConduct user research and usability testing to validate ideas and ensure solutions are user-friendly and effectiveDrive the evolution of our design system to maintain visual and interaction consistency across our platformCommunicate design rationale and trade-offs to non-designers and advocate for user needsAdvocate for user-centred design principles and accessibility best practices, ensuring all users can access and benefit from our solutionsSuccess looks like…You are contributing to team OKRsYou intimately understand our customers and their problemsYou design intuitive, elegant, and accessible experiences that improve the lives of in-house legal teams using LawVuLeveraging data & analytics to refine and improve design post-launchSetting high standards for design excellence and fostering a culture of constructive feedback and collaborationYou understand the legal tech landscape and how in-house legal teams work to create user-friendly, context-aware solutionsYou demonstrate and amplify LawVu's ValuesThe design team is world classWhat you'll need…You're the perfect fit if you:5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI designer, or in a similar roleIdeally have worked in the legal industry or equivalent B2B industry experiencePossess a portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process, design thinking, and problem-solving skillsAre proficient in design tools like Figma or similar, and familiar with design systems and accessibility standardsThrive on collaboration, continuous learning, and solving complex design challengesHave excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate design decisions and their impact on the productComfortable with ambiguity, great at driving clarity proactively and efficientlyBonus points if you have experience in SaaS, GenAI or working with data-driven platforms!Location:NZ (Tauranga, Auckland or Wellington)What sets us apart:Monthly wellness allowance to use on whatever enables you to bring your whole self to work - gym membership, massage, childcare.. the list goes on!Health insurance coverExtended paid parental leaveExtra paid day off on your birthdayShare options so you can have a piece of the pieHome office allowance set up for remote employeesReports to:Why LawVu?At LawVu we support many types of flexible working arrangements that allow you to balance your work, your life and your passions.
