Senior Process Technician

Job DescriptionAbout the roleWe're seeking a Senior Process Technician to join our Dunsandel manufacturing plant.
You will operate our highly automated Dryer to transform milk and ingredients into value-added products.
Responsibilities include meeting production processing requirements, troubleshooting plant and process issues, cleaning, conducting plant walks, and inspections.Our shifts offer flexibility and work-life balance with 4 days off between shifts, based on a rotational roster: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off (12.5-hour shifts).Main responsibilities include:Operating critical manufacturing equipment within designed parametersEnsuring products are manufactured in-spec and right first timeMaintaining high standards in the manufacturing environmentFollowing Synlait's Quality and Safety PrinciplesAdhering to good documentation practicesInvestigating production, safety, and quality issues to identify root causesUnderstanding IWS principlesManaging time effectively in a fast-paced environmentCommunicating effectively, being motivated, and willing to learnSuccess in this role depends on proactive processing and problem-solving skills.Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate has previous dryer operating experience and strong technical knowledge.
Capable of troubleshooting mechanical issues while optimizing efficiency and product quality.
