About the role
At Vector Fibre we are transforming and growing, and therefore have a need for a Senior Operational Technology Network Engineer. We need this role to provide day-to-day operational and engineering design support to the Vector Electricity OT Network (IP packet switching and routing networks). This role will collaborate with Vector Electricity’s technical staff on a regular basis and must always maintain a high degree of customer focus, and also work together with our Internal Digital Architects and Cyber Security team. Other key responsibilities are
• Design & Configuration of the network elements that constitute the Vector Electricity OT Network.
• Support the Vector Fibre NOC with Vector Electricity OT networking issues
• Configuration management and adherence to network architectural standards.
• Identification of possible network improvements and new product evaluation.
• On-call escalation support.

About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience working in Telecommunications industry and have CCNP certification. You will have excellent communication skills to complement your technical knowledge, both written and verbal. You will be self-driven with a real desire to contribute to the wider team and add to developing a great team culture.
