Position Overview
Massey University has served generations of learners from all backgrounds. The network provides connectivity for users on all three sites, external users within New Zealand and offshore, and underlying infrastructure serving applications to users.
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer who has experience working on complex, multi-site networks.As the point of escalation for technical matters, you will be extremely confident working with wired and wireless technologies, datacentre and campus architectures, QoS, advanced routing and multicast protocols. You will also be a strong communicator and inclusive team member who values sharing of knowledge and helping staff develop. Your technical background and experience will enable you to help improve the way we monitor and manage the network.
Not only will you contribute to the smooth operation of the University, but you will also have the opportunity to influence significant change.In conjunction with our Network Architect, you will be involved in planning and development, as well as supporting capital development projects running throughout the year.
