The team have grown significantly over the past 3 years and are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join their team.Location: Christchurch The Role: As a Senior .Net Developer reporting to a Lead Developer within my client's international team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and developing software solutions and microservices. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining timely and accurate deliverables. About you: You will an innovative thinker and have an inquisitive mindset with exceptional attention to detail– enabling yourself to understand the business objectives and perceive how the pieces of the puzzle fit together for the bigger picture.Ability to communicate technical vision and solutions clearly in a manner that is understandable to others in the business. Responsibilities:Research, design, and implement software solutions.Contribute to the product architecture.Ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables by ensuring projects are kept to the agreed schedule.Conduct code reviews and engage in pair programming when required.Share your knowledge and mentor other team members.Produce documentation and work on the specifications of new functions.Skills and Experience:Proficiency in C# and .NET CoreFamiliarity with SDLC7+ years of software development experienceStrong technical expertise with experience in agile scrum environmentComfortable in SQL and SQL Server and able to write advanced queries.Experienced using containers and familiar with microservice architecture.Desirable Skills and Experience:Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PythonExperience with the Atlassian suite of applicationsOn offer is the opportunity to work as part of a high-performing team, working for a company who value their staff and enjoy BBQ's together and having fun as a team.
