This role will focus on supporting the Lead Advisors for National Security, as well as the Head of National Security Intelligence.
Your responsibilities will be broad, from writing reports and building connections to inform decision makers, to collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support effective governance and contribute to the effective running of MBIE's national security and national resilience system arrangements.We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude, who is comfortable operating within ambiguity, and who is able to work across a wide range of subjects.
You will be part of a small, highly collaborative team, working in a high-paced and dynamic environment.Skills and Experience Required:Collaboration and coordination skills with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice, guidance, and coordination.Demonstrated skills in building and maintaining strong, professional relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to communicate key information, coordinate across the Ministry, and promote the Ministry, its products, and services.Demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive attitude and a high level of initiative.Experience working in an advisory or machinery of government role in the New Zealand Government.A tertiary degree in a relevant field, or relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret NZ Security Clearance.
