He/She should be qualified and trained to monitor and manage the organisation's strategic initiative, resource management, collaboration and corporate governance to ensure operational efficiency.
He oversees strategic implementation, budgets the use of capital and human resources, develops professional development programmes, and initiates professional relationships across agencies.
He also ensures operational and governance efficiency through supervision of a multi-disciplinary staff performance evaluation, and policy implementation.He/She is qualified and trained to assist in managing interventions and programmes, performing community development work and uplifting the professional practice in Social Work.
He guides multi-disciplinary teams to implement and evaluate casework and group work and also organises strategic community development initiatives, programmes and research.
He serves as a mentor to social workers and supports their professional development.An experienced staff who is meticulous, committed and possesses good problem-solving skills, the Senior Manager / Manager works in institutional settings, communities, Voluntary Welfare Organisations and hospitals.
He also works in collaboration with other agencies and ministries in the course of his work.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee the implementation of programmes and services for the team or centreConduct needs and intake assessments for complex cases by taking into account the integration of a range of informationFormulate and implement casework intervention plansFormulate and supervise group work intervention plansDevelop workplan for the team or centre, in alignment with agency goalsOversee implementation of operational strategies for the team or centreLead resolution of operational issues within the team or centreDevelop service standards, performance indicators and operating guidelines for the team or centrePrepare budget and funding proposalsDevelop community development initiatives and evaluate its effectiveness across the organisationLead development of specific programmes targeted at service gaps and service delivery issuesImplement standards of care, organisational health policies, procedures and programmesPerform audits with adherence to organisation's audit frameworkQUALIFICATIONSBachelor Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work recognised by the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board (SWAAB)OTHER INFORMATIONMinimum 5 years of experience in Social Work practiceMinimum 2 years of experience in Social Work supervisionMinimum 2 years of experience in leadership or managementAccreditation as Registered Social Worker (RSW) by SWAAB (Preferred)
