The Company This leading edge commercial manufacturing engineering and maintenance company has been operating for over 80 years The Role As a Management Accountant you will be working in a finance team of about 12 with 3 direct reports reporting into the Financial Controller Your main responsibilities will include Taking responsibility for timely and accurately processing of information into the Financial Systems Currently Navision subsidiary ledgers Preparation of Management Reporting including but not limited to Monthly departmental Profit amp Loss Reports GDP reporting Divisional Finance pack reporting Preparation of management reporting to the USA Parent company Overseeing the cashflow reporting and liaising with PFI on deposit maturities and cash requirements Responsible for accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis Responsible for all monthly journals Maintaining the Company Fixed Asset Register Filing of Company GST NWT FBT Govt Statistical Returns Responsible for maintaining the company s secretarial matters Maintaining and reporting on tracking the ERP OPEX and CAPEX spend at month end Assist with the annual budgeting process including preparing and circulating draft company and departmental budgets finalising and inputting into the financial system Planning and co ordinating the year end audit through to completion of company and consolidated statutory financials Responsible for completion and submission of Panasonic Internal Control checksheets for New Zealand business Payment of provisional tax completion of annual tax returns Operational Managing the AP and AR functions 3 direct reports Managing banking facilities including Company Visa s and payments as when required To enhance the working relationship of the Finance Department and its personnel with the other departments and branches of the organisation to facilitate the flow of meaningful information in all directions thus contributing to the managerial decision making process by the managers at all levels Identify and implement process improvements across the Finance team Assist with the requirements of the Regional ERP implementation program Undertake such additional tasks as required by management Oversee Health and safety checks and inspections Your Profile You will have at least 5 6 years experience in a similar role and Industry as a management accountant Can do attitude and out of the box thinker and problem solver You must be confident to deal with multiple levels of the business and the ability to self manage and enjoy taking full ownership of your work Apply Today Please send your resume in Microsoft Word format by clicking on the apply button or for further information contact Ronil Singh or Tanya Beets in our Auckland office on 09 915 6700 Job Reference No 06900 0009176668
