We are looking for a key member who will fit in with the strong team culture of hard work and fun This is a varied role that covers responsibilities in other areas of the business such as sales and marketing grower services freight supply chain and accounts We need someone with loads of energy and drive that will make the role their own Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to Coordination of all international and onshore logistics across the Group Liaison with all sea and air freight forwarders internationally Coordinate all bookings for shipping or airfreight Coordinate shipping stock export details and related materials Ensure the export and inventory systems are maintained Liaise closely with all sales managers packhouses and cool stores Ensure harvest plans pack plans and market plans align Monitor stock levels of packed product Oversee export documentation process Ensure timely cargo releases offshore Ensure no delays in shipments Negotiating shipping and supplier costs Logistics Supply Chain reporting The ideal candidate will have Experience in the freight and logistics industry In depth understanding of domestic and international logistics Experience with Controlled Atmosphere technology Experience in storage and distribution of perishable products Ability to multi task and juggle multiple priorities Ability to work to tight deadlines Live to values of honesty integrity reliability and professionalism High attention to detail Good problem solving skills in fast paced environment Advanced computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite Able to work autonomously Positive attitude Excellent communication skills within a team environment Our client is an international horticulture company focussed on the export and import of premium fresh fruit and vegetables grown primarily in New Zealand and Australia They comprise of a number of horticulture businesses involved in growing fresh produce and also service provision to other growers wholesalers and retailers and they need a superstar to join the team in Katikati Candidates with NZ Residency Citizenship or a valid work visa and the relevant experience are invited to apply online with an updated resume and cover letter today
