This is more than just a technical role, it's aleadership opportunityto help shape the direction and grow our team.You'll be working alongside a national network of50+ surveyors across New Zealand, contributing to some of the country's most significant land and infrastructure development projects for both government and private clients.This role offers:A strong and consistent pipeline of cadastral projects, alongsideOpportunities (and encouragement) tobranch into land development, reality capture and international projects.The chance toplay a leadership role in a growing team, andin a thriving marketWhat You'll Be Doing (depending a bit on your strengths)Working with the local and national team to scope, price and deliver projectsResearching cadastral boundaries, completing boundary calculations in 12DPreparing and verifying CSD datasets in LandOnlineMentoring and supporting junior staffCollaborating with various other Beca staff on multi-disciplinary projectsMou ake | About youYour passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across Auckland and Aotearoa.
You are a cadastral surveyor with significant experience with Land Online and an understanding of the New Zealand Cadastral System.
You will also have an inquiring mind, able to solve problems and think laterally; you can read and understand detailed survey plans.
Self-motivated, you strive for technical excellence and exceed client expectations.
You are passionate about developing and motivating others whilst ensuring that the team works collaboratively to meet project deliverables.You bring excellent communication skills that enable you to engage confidently with both clients and colleagues.
