The opportunity and the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Melbourne Office as a Senior Legal Assistant in our Workers Compensation division. This role is to join the team on a permanent full time basis.
You will help support and drive the practice. Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Liaising with clients, medical professionals and lawyers;
Preparing briefs;
Arranging appointments;
Generating reports;
Producing court documents and preparing briefs;
Maintaining data records;
Diary management; and
Generating & editing correspondence.
To be successful
To be successful your CV will display most of the following qualities and experiences:
Previous experience as a legal assistant, personal assistant or legal secretary (preferably in a personal injury law team);
A high attention to detail;
Proven time management;
An ability to deal sensitively with clients and work in a team environment is essential;
Previous experience in Plaintiff Law will be highly advantageous.
