Senior Internal Auditor

Our client is a large, complex organisation headquartered in central Auckland.

An opportunity is available for an experienced, Senior Auditor to join a central assurance team on a contract basis; initially until June of 2020 and with some potential to extend further. The focus of the role will be to implement the audit plan across a range of activities such as controls assurance, financial audit, operational audit, cybersecurity, behavioural risk etc.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be CA or IIA qualified with at least 5 years of experience in an audit role, either from an internal audit background or from a Big-4 or mid-tier firm with a complex audit client base. You’ll be a strong communicator, adept at building trust with senior stakeholders, able to challenge accepted paradigms and audit with a strategic viewpoint. Experience in an SAP environment would be ideal but not necessary. This role will require you to be available at short notice and hold full working rights in New Zealand.
