The Reliability Engineering team is a group of Engineers responsible for the reliability of all building services, utilities, and civil assets across the Terminals and Precinct.About the roleThe purpose of the Senior ICT Reliability Engineer role is to provide and facilitate reliable Communications Assets, Networks, and Systems at the Airport.
This role includes the following key responsibilities:Overall management of fibre network documentation and recordsContractor performance managementContract administration for all contractors and/or suppliersTechnical and financial performance administration and reportingEngaging with multiple customers, stakeholders, contractors, retailers, and suppliersContributing to health and safety, and regulatory complianceAsset management, including reporting and maintaining asset registers and renewal planningSupporting the Project team with design sign-off for major projects, resource management, and assisting in project delivery and commissioning phasesContinuous optimization of asset performance, reliability, and resilienceOperational budget preparation and management within approved limitsMeasuring performance and productivity of suppliers and contractorsSuccessful stakeholder, customer, and service provider engagementMaintaining system knowledge and records during times of rapid changeWhat you'll bring to the roleAt Auckland Airport, we value being Respectful, Collaborative, Caring, Honest, and Exceptional.
To succeed in this role, you will need:NZ Electrical Engineering Degree, Diploma, or NZCE8 to 10 years of experience in an ICT environmentKnowledge of relevant building services codes, standards, guidelines, and compliance requirementsStrong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functionsSound knowledge of relevant legal frameworks in New ZealandExcellent relationship-building skills at all organizational levelsStrategic thinking and the ability to handle business complexityUnderstanding of commercial realities and well-developed business acumen are also essential.About usAuckland Airport is more than just a business; it's a unique place with an important role in New Zealand's recovery.
