The Role The Senior Help Desk Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to clients and maintaining computer systems. May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job. They are responsible for diagnosing and resolving more complex hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software, and setting up new hardware. Being the lead on projects. They also provide technical assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting issues with desktops, laptops, printers, conferencing systems, and PC peripherals. Responsibilities: 50% ticket-based support work on escalations from Analysts, Associates, Local Help Desk, Engineer I, & Engineer II 50% regional projects Description. Implement and support the systems and technologies that comprise the end user computing environment. Including support and development of automating existing and new tools. Implement and manage the technology infrastructure that supports internal colleagues and their end unit compute. Support and manage third and fourth level internal support tickets. The ideal candidate is an expert IT end user engineer who has proven experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining a standard end user delivery model. You will apply this expertise across all aspects of the end user service design framework to deliver a superior colleague experience which is scalable, sustainable, and supportable. In order to be successful in this role, you should have: ITIL Foundation V3 or newer Workflow and process automation experience Support knowledge of Office 365 Apps Support knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, iOS & MacOS MDM experience is a plus. 5 years' experience working within a distributed global team/environment. Technical diploma or Microsoft certificate preferred (such as MCDST) General knowledge of commonly used IT operating systems Able to provide professional technical guidance to company employees regarding PC problems.
